Krabi & Phi Phi Islands – Thailand

Yet another month in Asia. After spending 3 months in Malaysia, it was time to get a change of environment. That’s why my girlfriend @lynnquaegebeur and I decided to travel to Krabi in Thailand. We stayed in a resort called Pakasai Resort located at the Ao Nang Beach Area. The resort was super nice with a lot of green and an awesome pool. We stayed in the Adora Chalet, a gigantic room on top of the hill with a great balcony view.20170416-DSC_0405

The first day when we arrived we decided to take it easy and spend our day at the pool, during the evening we went to watch the sunset at Ao Nang Beach and go for dinner in a restaurant on the dike.

The next day, we decided to go on a 7-hour boat tour to the idyllic Phi Phi Islands. In total we made 7 stops at different places. The first stop was Bamboo Island, a small island with crystal clear blue water. A paradise, but also really busy, which took away the wow-effect. The most beautiful stop was at Loh Samah bay. It’s a crystal clear lagoon in between the cliffs.

Our next stops were at Pileh Cove, Viking Cave and Monkey Beach. All very beautiful but also very crowded and full of tourists. For lunch, we made a stop at Phi Phi Islands itself. We had rice and different sorts of meat there, very nice!

After the food, we left again to snorkel at His Klang Reef. After that is was time to return to shore.

The next day we decided to chill by the pool again and enjoy some very great cocktails and food, such as these fries, sandwiches and pizzas! And then in the evening it was back to KL again…
